While we don't provide emergency services directly, our clinic is conveniently located in the same compound as the emergency department. In case of emergencies, immediate access to emergency care is just steps away.

Vaccination Services

Dr. Chan Aung has been practicing at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital since September 1997. He has been providing quality care as well as teaching medical students at our current location. His dedication to the community is evident as he has been seeing second generation pediatric patients in this community. We follow the CDC and AAP guidelines to ensure the highest standard of pediatric care for our patients.

Vaccination Schedule

Following CDC guidelines and recommendations for comprehensive pediatric care

Annual Flu Vaccination

We strongly recommend annual flu vaccination for all patients 6 months and older. Flu shots are typically available from September through the flu season.

  • • Best time to get vaccinated: Early fall
  • • Recommended for: Ages 6 months and older
  • • Protection against: Seasonal influenza strains

COVID-19 Vaccination

We strongly recommend COVID-19 vaccination for eligible individuals following CDC guidelines. Protect yourself and your community.

Newborn to 3 Years Schedule

  • Two Weeks:

    Initial newborn follow-up

  • 1, 2, 4, 6 Months:

    Regular checkups + scheduled vaccinations

  • 9, 12, 15, 18 Months:

    Development assessment + vaccines

  • 2 Years:

    Regular checkup + development assessment

  • 30 Months:

    Development screening + physical

  • 3 Years:

    Comprehensive physical examination

  • Annual Vaccines: Flu shot recommended annually starting at 6 months of age
  • Note: HC measurement up to 2 Years

Age 4 and Above Schedule

  • 4-10 Years:

    Annual physical examinations and recommended vaccinations

  • 11 Years:

    Comprehensive physical examination including:

    • • Tdap vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
    • • Meningococcal vaccine (MenACWY)
    • • HPV vaccine series initiation
  • 16 Years:

    Special physical examination including:

    • • Meningococcal booster (MenACWY)
    • • Meningococcal B vaccine (optional)
    • • Completion of any missing vaccine series
  • 17-21 Years:

    Annual physical examinations and health maintenance:

    • • Continued preventive care
    • • Catch-up vaccinations if needed
    • • Transition planning to adult care
  • Annual Requirements:
    • • Annual physical examination
    • • Yearly flu vaccination (recommended each fall)
    • • Other age-appropriate vaccines as needed
  • Note: Additional vaccines may be recommended based on individual health needs and risk factors
